The members of the American Guatemalan Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) met with experts in economics outlining to members and media the economic prospects of the country for 2017.

Juan Pablo Carrasco, a partner at CENTRAL LAW Guatemala and president of AmCham Guatemala, said that they were celebrating 50 years of the Chamber and celebrating the strengthening of trade and investment between the United States and Guatemala as well as providing support to its more than 500 member members. He also expressed that it was important to know the challenges and opportunities that Guatemala had and that it can help generate jobs and strategies and establish relevant mechanisms to attract investment to the country.
