Last January 25th, Mr. Alvaro Molina Vaca, Partner at CENTRAL LAW Nicaragua, was elected to the Board of the American Chamber of Commerce in Nicaragua, after having been the Chairman of the Investment and Trade Committee for 4 years. During that period, he met the goals of attracting foreign investment to Nicaragua, promoting and facilitating commerce, training partners and attending to commercial tasks relevant to the position.
During the event, Mr. Molina Vaca was accompanied by Dr. Yalí Molina, who in addition to being Director Partner of CENTRAL LAW Nicaragua, currently is the Vice President of AACCLA (American Association of Chambers of Commerce in Latin America), and previously held the Chair at AmCham for two consecutive terms (2011 y 2012).
Mr. Álvaro Molina Vaca has 12 years of experience in Law practice, standing out particularly for being a pioneer in advising projects of national interest such as renewable power generation in Nicaragua, mining, natural resources, oil & gas. Additionally, he has a noted career in intellectual property, telecommunications, foreign investment, and corporate law in general. With a degree from the American University and a Master’s Degree in Corporate Law, from the University of Valladolid, Spain, he has been included in the main international legal rankings in his different areas of practice.
